Bullfight Photographer since 1994 when I sought to introduce a newsletter of bullfighting news and information from the northern front of Mexico, specifically in bullfighting towns of Mexicali and Tijuana.
During the winter months my father and I would go to Mexicali to go see a bullfight at the Plaza Calafia bullring. Once we returned home to Los Angeles, I would check the newspapers to see if any news or results were printed of the bullfights. Seeing that nothing was ever printed or posted on this side of the US border got me to start something.
The spring of 1995, I officially started taking photographs of the bullfights at the now demolished downtown bullring El Toreo de Tijuana.
